The George & Esther Albert Residence, by architect Paul Tay (1963). At a time when Jewish families were often not welcomed in many custom home developments, Lakewood Country Club provided sanctuary for the Alberts and other prominent families. Their home was one of several extraordinary modernist homes that Tay built in the neighborhood. Having been lovingly kept in almost entirely original condition, it has now been sold to preservationist buyers with the goal of restoring as their own family home. Represented seller and buyers in an as-is off market sale.
